Not-So-Wordless Wednesday

YOU might not be able to see a lot in this picture.

But I see a son enjoying his first real fireworks display and his first Fourth of July, in the arms of his mommy. That's what I see :)

Superman: Red Son

For those wondering about this week's Wordless Wednesday photo, that's Superman, Red Son.

He's the action figure based on the comic books that contemplate how things would have been different had Superman crashed on a Ukrainian collective farm instead of in Kansas. Zack got the hardback edition of the series (all 3 books in one) for Christmas, and it was an interesting read. (And I think that might be the first time I'd ever read a comic book!)
