My Sister, and Her New Brother

I'm super excited to have a new sister! Growing up I always wanted a sister. While I didn't ever have one as a child, my wish came true 15 years ago when my brother married one of my friends! And now I'm thrilled to have another sister. Savannah is about as sweet as they come, and I couldn't be happier for her and Josh!

As you may or may not know, Savannah has 4 sisters: 2 biological and 2 born in China.

And Savannah also has a brother. He's still in China right now, and her parents are working hard to bring him home this year.

And that's where you can help! Savannah's mom Sharon has just set up an auction blog to raise money for their adoption. Lots of great items will soon be posted - most donated by sweet friends and family - and all proceeds will help bring Will home.

First Dance

Several months ago we captured this FABULOUS video of Savannah and Josh dancing. We all had a good laugh...


Little did we know, they would soon be surprising us all with a wonderfully choreographed first dance at their wedding reception!


The newlyweds are now on their way home from their honeymoon in Maui, and we pray that God will richly bless their marriage.

And a 'wedding funny'... after the wedding (before the reception) we were bragging on Daniel, telling him how great he did. We asked him if he enjoyed it. He shrugged, then pointed to the 2 pastors & said "yeah, but I didn't like that story. It was too long!" (sorry Donnie & Jason!)

Sorry I've been slack in blogging, but we've had quite the busy weekend!

Zack's younger brother Josh got married this weekend. We had a great time spending the weekend in Hartwell with friends and family. I'll post some more pictures later, but here's a teaser for now...
