Today, we pray for the SDA staff (State Dept of Adoption). These are the officials that hold so many families' and children's futures in their hands - the ones that approve or deny petitions to adopt, the ones that choose the files/children that are shown to each family.
I pray for the health and safety of these workers. I pray that God will give them an extra measure of patience as they deal with a job that must be very stressful and demanding.
I pray specifically for the workers that have handled our paperwork so far, and for the workers that we will encounter on June 16. I thank God that they approved our petition and invited us for an appointment. I pray that they will treat our case with fairness and look at the best interest of both our family and the child(ren) presented to us. I pray that we will find favor with them during that meeting, that tempers will remain controlled and that relations will be pleasant and friendly.
Please join us in praying for the SDA staff.
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways,

Praying for you guys! I am sure you will find the SDA really kind. We did. I pray that your child(ren) is/are shown as the first file and it is very clear.
