We've received lots of comments and questions, via blog, email, facebook, and twitter. Here are just a few...
The Land family asked "Can you tell what region you are in?"
Kathy and Matt asked "Did you end up going back to the same orphanage and town?"
Debora said "Southern Ukraine...we were in Southern Ukraine...wonder if you're in the same area"
MamaPoRuski said "Are you able to say which Oblast you are in? "
We aren't going to answer this one for right now. Once we have the big stuff behind us, we'll let everyone know we're we ended up. But we'd rather remain a bit secretive in the mean time. Please bear with us!
Michelle P said "How is William feeling about being there? SDA must have ate him up! Does he remember any of the language? "
Christine asked "How is William enjoying his new brother?"
William is LOVING everything about this trip so far. He loves the food, he loves the sites, he loves hanging out with our facilitator & her husband. He's having so much fun and is doing so well in his new role as big brother. He's very patient and kind. We're trying to explain to him that it's okay to just talk to Elvis in English even if he doesn't understand it right now. Today, Elvis kept asking "Vitya" (that's what he calls William) to pick him up. William finally managed to do it, and was showered with kisses from little brother.
William doesn't remember the language, or anything else about Ukraine. Amazing how much he's forgotten in 2 1/2 years, but he was young. He was GREAT at the SDA. They seemed to really like seeing him there, and doing so well. Every time a worker would walk into the room, the girl that was working with us would stop and tell him about the little boy from Mariupol. We made sure and took a picture of him to give to them so they can add it to the wall. It was neat seeing so many happy faces on the wall, including one I recognized (the beautiful Nadia Hills).
And as for Christine's comment about Rachel, he misses her, too. He had so much fun playing feathers with her and talking about restaurants in America that they've been to!
I'm hoping to talk William into being a guest blogger later this week (Mommy typing as he talks about his time here so far)
Steve & Jill said "it appears that he will need a tan and some dental work when he gets to the States"
Okay, we were offended for a minute when we read this, but then we remembered you weren't actually seeing his real face :) But a tan - yeah, he is a bit pale and needs a little sunshine!
Please let William know that he is missed, terribly! ;) We can't wait to meet our new friend (Jon's smile said it all!).
William was so happy to hear this - he really misses Meghan & Jon - and all the rest of the neighborhood gang. We might just have to get the red 3-wheel scooter back out :)
Charissa said "William will be an awesome big brother! Does he suddenly seem so big? Did William draw that face? "
He seems like a GIANT next to Elvis! And actually, Zack was the amazing artist - I know, you're jealous. BTW, miss you guys & hope all is going well in Kyiv :)
Michelle said "too little information, GIVE ME MORE!!! :))"
Mama of 2 and Counting said, "Can't wait to see his face and hear more about him :)"
I know, I know. We'll add more as time goes on. But for now, you'll just have to enjoy our creative photography skills.
Thanks for all the comments & questions - keep sending them, and please keep praying with us!

Way to be smart about not sharing too much information... even if it does drive the rest of us nuts! Can't wait until you can share more! Praying for you all. Say hi to L for us!
So glad that things are going so well. I am praying for you and like everyone else the suspense is killing me,but I totally understand. Makes me come back to read more. Love you all and can't wait to meet little "Elvis".
Totally understand your timing. Just had to ask!
We'll keep following!!
Can't wait to learn more! Any guesses on court date yet? Can you tell us a little more about Elvis? Age, shoe size etc?
Congratulations!
Thanks for all the info! We know you are having an amazing time, but we can't wait for you to get home.
Haha! I just loved the hand drawn face on the "mask" you put in that picture. I couldn't help myself... ;) We are still praying for a smooth transition and for all of the obstacles to disappear.
