12 days of prayer: Day 1

As we approach our trip to Ukraine, I ask our friends, family, and blog readers to join us in praying for all that lies ahead of us.  I'm one that likes to be able to pray specifically for others, so over the next 12 days I'll be sharing 12 specifics ways you can support us in prayer.  These are things we are praying for, and I invite you to join us.

I believe that when we pray in Jesus' name, and when we pray for His will to be done, God will bless. 

DAY ONE PRAYER: TRAVEL PREPARATIONS

Please pray for our travel preparations. Being gone for a long period of time (5 - 6 weeks, or more) there is much to consider when packing, and when making sure everything is taken care of around the house, with our dog, etc. Pray that we will make wise decisions, and will remember everything essential to our journey. Pray that even in these seemingly mundane tasks, we seek our Father's will and guidance.
