We've put William to work around here. After all, he's the perfect size for these Ukrainian brooms.

We went out for pizza tonight at Celantano's.
Zack has noticed several of these particular manhole covers around town. Notice anything interesting on them?
We stopped by this booth and bought some "cotton candy." Well, it looks like cotton candy, but it was very different. We tried it, but won't be buying any more. Very strange.
This billboard is right next to the bridal shop on Lenina. Zack and I find this picture very odd.

Ok, I have to ask what the "cotten candy" tasted like? Imagine if we could get cotten candy that big here. We would be on a sugar high for a week. And the symbol on the man cover, a politician used it on an add this week. Had to do something with Obama. It was weired, got press though. Cant't wait till you guys get home.
Okay, Sophie and I had that same cotton candy. Bizarre, isn't it? I am fairly certain it was just plain white sugar that was poured into a cotton candy machine. It tasted like it was burnt and the texture was thin and crunchy, not soft and whispy. They sold it in the park on the weekends and I think it was about 10 cents, so no loss there. Very strange though.
We had some of that at the zoo there. Burnt and crispy white sugar is about accurate. Certainly not the melt in your mouth clouds of yumminess that we enjoy here in the states.
Love that pic of you "dressed in your best!" Also, the pics of Elvis below are adorable! Happy 4th to you guys! Miss you all!
Love you!
Gina :)
So those potholes still have the old Soviet symbols on them? Are there still a lot of Soviet era things in Ukraine?
