Day 1 of of the 10 day wait: rain & sun

We went to visit Elvis on Wednesday morning. He was in a foul mood. We wonder if he either didn't sleep well or hadn't maybe gotten into some trouble before we arrived. It wasn't our best visit, but we managed okay.

Right after we arrived, the sky grew dark and we took all of our stuff and sat under one of the pavillions. Then it began to pour rain. It stopped just in time for us to take Elvis back to his groupa.


Our drive back to the apartment took much longer than usual because of flooded streets and an accident.

In the afternoon, the sun came out. It was also a little cooler thanks to the rain. So we went walking down Lenina Street.

We walked past many cool things including a movie theater...

William was excited to see this huge Toy Story 3 poster. He & Zack plan to go & see this movie once we're back home.

Apparently, Knight & Day is also playing. Has anyone seen this movie?

After a couple of hours of walking, we were ready for a break. So we stopped at a sidewalk restaurant for drinks, and shared a small pizza for a snack. It was nice sitting in the shade and relaxing for a while.

And as always, we saw more statues...

We drive a Honda Accord at home - I love my Accord! But Zack and I REALLY love the Accords here - they are like the Acura TL in America.
