Chrissie is dancing with Jesus

It is with a mix of both sadness and joy that I announce to my blog readers that sweet little Chrissie passed away early this morning.  She was such a fighter. Although she did not receive her earthly healing, I praise God that she has been fully restored in heaven.

My heart aches for the Patterson family. They fought to bring her home and into their family. They fought to get her the surgery she needed. They fought to keep her comfortable for the past 31 days while she was in that hospital bed.

Chrissie came to be known by so many as the Serbian Sensation. Even as she lay in her hospital bed with tubes and machines connected in all directions, she was ministering to people throughout the world. Her story allowed her family to share Jesus' name in a way that they might not otherwise have been able to do. In the short time she was with her family, she was loved and adored, and learned how wonderful it is to be a part of a family.

Please keep this family in your prayers as they grieve their loss.

You can visit their blog HERE.

I am crying here. I don't know Chrissie, or her family, but I have been a prayer warrior for them all. I have been watching her fight and boss her heart and body, when no one thought it was possible. I havent had a chance to read thier blog since yesterday morning, but I had been praying. God bless, Chrissie, may she dance to her heart's content while shining down on us.

I have been watching this blog and praying for her since your first post on her. Its tough to see her pass away, especially when it was looking better for a while, but so glad a Godly family was with her and told hr about Jesus before she met him.

I'm sitting here with tears in my eyes and chiils. I'm heartbroken for the family of little Chrissie. I've prayed so hard that she would receive her earthly healing, but God had other plans. I pray for comfort for her family.
