11/5/07: At 4:40 PM ET our flight departed Atlanta, heading for Frankfurt Germany. The flight was long but comfortable, though neither of us slept much at all. We arrived in Frankfurt right on time and within 10 minutes of getting off the plane we were at the gate for our next flight. We waited for about 2 hours, and then prepared for the final flight of this part of the trip. Destination: Kyiv, Ukraine.
From my journal on November 5, 2007:
The day has arrived, at last. We are sitting in the Atlanta airport at 10 after 3, awaiting ouf 4:40 flight. I didn't get much sleep last night. There was a "Fresh Prince of Bel Air" marathon on Nick at Nite, and I think I saw at least part of every episode during the night.I am excited and nervous, apprehensive and anxious. In less than 48 hours, we should have seen a picture of our son and learned a little bit about him. And by this time on Friday we should have seen him for the first time.

Wow! I also love your adoption prayer. I love the way we can be so specific with God! He sure is good, and your family is so beatiful! By the way, thanks for the idea of Grady. Its the one!
