Two Posts in One Day!

(If you haven't already, be sure to check out the pumpkin patch photos below.)

We had a guest with us all weekend - Mouse. He spends each weekend with one of the kindergarteners in William's class, and this weekend it was William's turn.

Mouse likes cookies. But if you give a mouse a cookie... well, I don't want to spoil it for you. You'll just have to read the book for yourself to find out what might happen! Here's some of the fun we had with Mouse...

We quickly learned that Mouse likes more than just cookies. He was anxious to try the pizza we had for dinner on Friday night.

Zack bought us a dozen yummy Krispy Kreme donuts. Well apparently Mouse thought they were yummy, too. When William went to bed on Friday night, there were 7 in the box. When he checked again on Saturday morning, there were only 4. That silly Mouse!

Mouse slept well all 3 nights, although he did try to steal the covers. And we kept finding cookie crumbs everywhere!

Mouse was especially excited to watch William's soccer game on Saturday morning. William scored 2 goals, and Mouse sat with us to cheer him on.

Mouse made himself at home at Baba & Pop's house, and quickly found the bowl of Halloween candy...

Mouse rode to church with us on Sunday morning. After church, he joined us and some friends at Frontera for lunch. He really liked the cheese dip!

Mouse tagged along as we chose our pumpkins at the pumpkin patch. Then he enjoyed the cool October air as we made our way back home.

Mouse supervised as William journaled about their weekend adventures.

All in all, it was a great weekend with Mouse, and we miss him already. We hope all the other children take great care of Mouse like our William did!

I didn't notice mouses' overalls having oversized pockets, but apparently they did. The halloween candy is almost gone and I don't know what else could have happened to it. Any ideas Zack? Oh well, I can always get more candy, but we probably won't have Mouse for another visit. Love you William--------Baba

Zack is such a cutie and his is growing up so fast! Thanks for all of your help on the book. I had lots of warning on text and pictures but when I previewed the book the text all fit and the pictures looked okay. I took a huge risk and the book turned out great. All of the text was perfect and only the biggest of the cautioned pictures looked a tad blurry. I am still pleased and have learned lots on this trial book.
