But as long as they're not playing each other, we also cheer for the University of Georgia. So on Saturday we drove to Athens with Eric & Michaele (they're both UGA alumni) and went to the Bulldogs' game against Central Michigan. Zack's been to one other UGA game, but this was the first time for William & me.
It was lots of fun, but extremely hot. We ran into a ton of people we know, including the Taylors (they adopted Madelyn about a month before we adopted William).
William had a great time and made it through the entire game. So he has officially been introduced to the craziness of college football in the south. If you're not from the south/don't live in the south, you can't fully appreciate college football mania like it is down here!

What a great outing for William! We are the same way about Tenn- as long as we are not playing them- go Vols- otherwise... GO DAWGS!!! Loved all your pictures!!! Hope you all have a great week!!!
Sounds like a great, fun day for the family!
I love the picture of William with the cheerleaders...watch out Mom and Dad, William is going to have the girls after him as he gets older!!!
Yes, I agree. College football in the south is very big! Thankfully I have experience with game hysteria because I married into a family of Buckeyes! We love football season, looks like William does too! Glad you all are having so much fun!
I love this post, because when I first started dating my husband he took me to his hometown of Knoxville to visit his grandparents. I was astounded - orange EVERYWHERE!! I'd never seen such a thing! Orange ceiling fans in the restaurants, orange garage doors on people's houses, orange EVERYWHERE!! :)
Wow--these pics shocked me to see how blond William's hair is! What a cutie.
I love your pictures! My husband and I are both UGA alumni! Go Dawgs!!! We can't wait to take our little ones to a game. :)
