Now that I have your attention ;) We found out about blurb, an awesome self-publishing site where you turn your blog into a book. You download the software, "slurp" (upload) your blog, and edit it to make it look just the way you want it.
So we slurped our adoption blog, and worked on the book for a few months. We finally ordered it a couple of weeks ago. It arrived today, and can I just say that it is AWESOME!!!!! We designed a 7x7 book, and after we paid for it I started worrying that it was going to be too small. But it looks so good!
It's about 170 pages. And at the end of the book, we made pages for each annual Gotcha Day (all the way through his senior year of high school). Each page has a place to put a picture, a section for recording what we did that day, and a place to record height, weight, and all his current favorites.

That is so great! What a wonderful keepsake for William!!! That sounds easy enough- it sounds so doable! I might look into that for EllaKate. Hope you all are having a great week!
A book on one of my "4" favorite subjects !!! :-)) Priceless....
Love,
Mom
Cool. It looks awesome! DId any of your pages have the six clumnof pics on the side? Was any of the print a size 9? What size book did you get?
Christine - I sent you an email with more details. But it's 7x7, and most of the font is Georgia 9.
Awesome!! I love it! I think I want to do it. How long did it take to get the book back? Will you send me more information, too?

How cool is that?!? I'm going to email you too - I'd love to do this!
It looks great. I've seen the post about that site and thought it would be cool to do.
I may email you if I can't figure it out.
This is great! We can't wait to do this. I had heard that Christine was making her adoption blog into a book, this must be how! Thanks for sharing this idea and website!
I started working on this project for Finding Maddie about the same time as we brought her home. I need to get my tail in gear and get this done. You've put me to shame...and I'm not even working full-time anymore. ;>)
